A key action of our EarthCare Program is a watershed restoration project in Martinez. We join a small group of local residents who meet at Strenzel Meadow, usually on 1st and 3rd Saturdays from 9 to 11 a.m., to help restore the natural habitat with native plants and improve the watershed drainage into Alhambra Creek.   It is light work and a lovely way to start your Saturday.  Multiple benefits include  helping to heal our beautiful earth that we all love and depend on; opportunity to have fun and get to know each other better and create more "community connection"; be more visible in the local community and meet some of our Martinez neighbors.   Won’t you join us in this fun activity?  (No need to attend every Saturday.)   To get on the reminder list, contact Norma,  707-745-1938.    If you like, we can carpool from Unity at 8:45am.
